Progressive lenses →Night Driving Glasses
KSh 4,000 – 6,000
Anti-reflective lenses that reduce glare from oncoming headlights. If driving at night on Lower Kabete or Red Hill Road feels uncomfortable, this is worth getting checked.
Night driving lenses →Screen Strain Is Very Common Among Kitisuru Professionals
If you work from home in Kitisuru or commute to offices in Gigiri, Runda, or Westlands, you're likely spending 6 to 10 hours a day on screens. Headaches by 3 PM, dry or stinging eyes, blurred vision when you look up from your laptop — these are the classic signs of digital eye strain.
A proper eye test will tell you whether you need a prescription update, blue light filtering lenses, or simply an adjustment to how your screen is positioned. Blue light glasses at Ottico start from KSh 4,500 and most patients leave the same day with their new glasses.
Children's Eye Tests for Kitisuru and Runda Families
Most children who struggle to see clearly in class never say anything — they assume the blurry board is normal. An annual eye test is the only way to catch vision problems before they affect school performance.
Families from Kitisuru, New Kitisuru, and Runda bring their children to Ottico Eyecare before new school terms. The assessment takes about 20 minutes and is straightforward even for young children. Kids' frames start from KSh 2,999, and the eye test is KSh 300 — free when glasses are purchased.
